Kinyogoga Sub-county Council has passed a budget worth over shillings UGX 200 million

Kinyogoga Sub-county Council has passed a budget worth over shillings 200 million for the new financial year, with major emphasis placed on infrastructure development aimed at improving service delivery and boosting socio-economic transformation within the area.

The budget was approved during a council sitting presided over by the Sub-county Speaker, Kato Ramathan, who commended councillors and technical staff for their commitment towards the growth and development of Kinyogoga Sub-county.

While presenting the priorities of the budget, council highlighted key sectors that will benefit from the allocation, including road rehabilitation, construction and maintenance of public facilities, and improvement of community infrastructure to enhance accessibility and service delivery to residents. Leaders noted that infrastructure development remains a critical pillar in supporting trade, education, health services, and overall community development.

Speaking during the sitting, Kato Ramathan urged leaders to continue working together in promoting accountability and ensuring that the approved funds are effectively utilized for the intended purposes. He emphasized the need for unity and collective responsibility in advancing the development agenda of the sub-county.

In the same function, councillors who served during the concluding council term were awarded certificates of appreciation in recognition of their dedication, commitment, and contribution towards the progress of Kinyogoga Sub-county. The leaders were applauded for championing development programs, representing the interests of residents, and supporting initiatives aimed at improving livelihoods within the community.

Several councillors expressed gratitude to the leadership and the people of Kinyogoga for the support accorded to them throughout their term of service, noting that the recognition would inspire continued commitment to community service and development.

The function concluded with calls for continued cooperation between leaders, technical staff, and residents in order to successfully implement the approved budget and sustain the development momentum within Kinyogoga Sub-county.
